About Akoya Pearls

Akoya pearls are the classic white pearl: perfectly round, with a sharp, mirror-like luster and soft rose or silver overtones. Cultured in the cool waters of Japan, they are the traditional choice for brides, graduations and first fine-jewelry gifts.

Our Akoya collection includes single-strand necklaces, stud earrings, pendants and bracelets from 5mm to 11mm, plus Hanadama, the highest Akoya grade. Every piece is graded by a GIA graduate and set in 14k gold, 18k gold or sterling silver, with strands hand-knotted between each pearl.
